An exciting,
and inspirational statewide campaign in support of
Special
Olympics Oregon and Oregon’s largest
disability population
Dine Out for Greatness! – Thursday, August 7,
2008

No other industry, overall, makes a more significant
difference in Oregon’s communities than the Restaurant
Industry, which not only employs thousands of Oregonians
but “gives back” in many ways that strengthen
all communities.
And no service organization has the potential
to impact more Oregonians than Special
Olympics Oregon, now
working to bring its life-changing programs to tens of thousands
of individuals with intellectual disability – the largest
disability population in the state. Our athletes “Inspire
Greatness” everyday and now you can too.

Join Oregon Restaurant Association and SYSCO
Portland to support Special Olympics Oregon by:
• Signing
up today to become a Participating
Restaurant. Each
participating restaurant agrees to contribute a portion of proceeds on Thursday,
August 7, 2008 to support Special Olympics Oregon.
• Find a participating
restaurant in your area and invite your friends
to dine out with you on Thursday, August 7 to support Special Olympics Oregon.
A complete list of restaurants can be found on this site. Updates happen daily,
so check the list often!

Bite of Oregon at Tom McCall Waterfront Park, August
8-10, 2008.
